Product Description

FORUS offers a wide range of drilling and production spherical pulsation dampers ranging in volume sizes from 1 gallon to 20 gallons and

pressures ranging from 250 psi to 7500 psi. The body of the spherical pulsation damper is fabricated from a single piece of forged steel,

eliminating the possibility of weld fatigue failure.

The overall spherical design enables high efficiency in a small volume and requires no additional structural support. The spherical design also

provides more piping flexibility than attachment style dampers.

The Discharge Pulsation Dampener, as known as the discharge/ exhaust air bag, that is the main component of the mud pump discharge end.

The pulsation dampener is installed in the discharge line of a fluid end, and played a role to ensure good steady pressure and pressure

compensation.

The pulsation dampener working pressure is 80% of mud pump working pressure.

1.--F-500/ F-800 mud use KB-45 Pulsation Dampener.

2.-- F-1000 / F-1300/ F-1600 use KB-75 Pulsation Dampener.

* Notably, when removable pulsation dampener, you must relieve first.

Pulsation Dampener Assembly Composition:

The Pulsation Dampener is composed of Pulsation Dampener Shell, Rubber Bladder( Diaphragm), Pressure Gauge, Angle Stop Valve(Charging Valve) and End Cover( Bottom Plate Gasket) etc.

Mud Pump Discharge Pulsation Dampener Features:

1.-- Pulsation Dampener is forged with 4130 Low-Temperature Resistance Alloy Steel. 2.-- Pulsation Dampener has precise inside chamber size with surface roughness 6.3, increase the life span of the bladder.

3.-- Nitrile (NBR), Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR or HSN) and Urethane diaphragms available.

4.-- Protected charging valve/ angle stop valve and pressure gauge - no single point lift on the dust cover.

5.-- Use of dampener extends power end and fluid end expendable parts life.
